16wk old Red Sexlink Pullets
Red Sexlinks are great egg layers, producing 300+ large brown eggs annually. Because of their prolific egg laying, they will need a high-protein diet to continue laying the high volume they are capable of. Red Sexlinks are a great starting point for those who are new to chickens as they get along well with humans and give you a fantastic number of eggs. They are a great choice for those with children, they can be quite affectionate, often happy to be patted or cuddled - especially when they learn that you are the provider of food and treats. Our strain has a significantly reduced life expectancy compared to other chicken breeds - with a majority living for between 2-3 years, some up to 5-8 years old. The decreased life expectancy is directly related to their high egg production.
Pullets will be vaccinated with an all organic certified vaccine for Mareks, Salmonella, and Pullorum Typhoid disease.
PICKUP POLICY
Started pullets will be available for pickup on the date you select. You will receive an email reminder with your pickup details prior to the scheduled date.
All pullet orders must be picked up by the end of the selected day—no exceptions. Orders not picked up by the end of the day will be considered abandoned and will not be held. Due to the perishable nature of the product, we cannot issue refunds for abandoned orders.
