They are easy to handle, get along well with other chickens, and are great for families and beginner chicken keepers. They are not aggressive and are very social, often seeking out human interaction.

  • Hardiness: Buff Orpingtons are hardy birds that thrive in a variety of climates, including colder temperatures. Their dense feathering provides good insulation against the cold, but they also adapt well to warmer weather if provided with adequate shade and water.

    For shipped orders, there is a minimum requirement of 3 PER BREED on females. No minimum requirement on males only.

  • SHIPPING POLICY

    Orders are shipping February 5th through October 29th every Monday and Wednesday (excluding holidays). We will do everything we can to get your chicks scheduled based on your preferred ship month and week, however, there is no guarantee your order will arrive during that time. An email confirmation will be sent as soon as your order is reserved.
